English striker Harry Kane scored and assisted in his first start with Bayern Munich in a 4-0 win over Werder Bremen at the Weserstadion stadium on Friday (August 18).
In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, the English striker compared the atmosphere between the Premier League (PL) and Bundesliga, saying that he liked the latter's.
"It was great. The fans from both sides were incredible the whole game... really different to some of the Premier League atmospheres I've experienced," Kane said when asked about how different the experience was from the PL
"Of course our away fans were amazing, but credit to their fans as well. They were great.
"So I really enjoyed my experience, and I'm just happy that we came away with the win."
Kane scored his first goal for the German side in the 74th minute with a brilliant finish.
The 30-year-old positioned himself between Bremen's centre-backs and put the ball into the bottom left corner brilliantly after receiving a lowball from Alphonso Davies.
Kane is not a traditional striker who would stay in the box and wait for the ball, he is someone who likes to drop deep and involve in the link-up, similar to Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema.
He also assisted Bayern's first of the night with a beautiful flick in his own half to Leroy Sane who then ran half of the pitch and put the ball on the back of the net with his right foot.
In the same post-match interview, Kane also addressed how Bayern is the perfect team for him because of the nature of his game.
"We've seen my game, I like to drop deep and link play in the last four or five years," he said.
"I think with the pace we have in this team, it works perfectly.
"I'm a No.9 first and foremost so I have to get in the box and make the runs forward.
"I'm really happy, we have a fantastic squad and I'm excited to be a part of it."
